I am currently a student of Social Work at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), while also pursuing Python programming independently. I live in Santos, Brazil. I am dedicated to deepening my understanding of Python and its diverse applications. I am eager to participate in projects aligned with the objectives of social justice, ecological revolution, and initiatives based on Python and the web.

Projects
- In partnership with Leandro Fadelli, I developed the Social Cartography of Santos, a dynamic map that charts the territorialities and struggles of social movements in the city. The content was produced by Social Work students at UNIFESP in the Política Social 2 curriculum unit (2024-2025).
- I developed Concurseira Pobre, a free website offering a collection of questions from the AVANÇA-SP exam board to assist in efficient and cost-free exam preparation. Users can access past questions, practice, and study with access to answers. The backend was built with Python, using web scraping to obtain past exams and answer keys.
- I developed Lindiflix, a site showcasing some of the works produced by students from the Licenciatura Intercultural Indígena at UNIFESP in 2024. It features videos of children sharing their daily lives, knowledge, games, and communities. It’s an invitation to explore the diversity of the indigenous peoples of São Paulo.
- I developed Vigilante, an application that allows users to view real-time camera feeds from select locations in Santos, Brazil. This Python-powered app leverages public cameras provided by the Santos city government for virtual surveillance. The camera data was obtained through HTTPS requests, utilizing available endpoints on the internet. A simple version of the site can be found at: https://hericmr.github.io/cameras.
- And my favorite: Geosantos, a geolocation game set in Santos, SP, where players, identify city neighborhoods. The game, developed in Typescript, is designed for educational purposes.
